A recent report reveals millions of senior citizens in the United States are missing out on more than $20 billion in benefits that could help them pay for heating, food and even medical costs.

The report found the main reason the elderly are missing out on these benefits is simply because they dont know that theyre there. The report cites organizations that advocate for the rights of seniors.

“It is no secret that millions and millions of Americans are struggling right now, but help is just a phone call away,” Sandy Markwood, chief executive of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, told the news source.

Investigators say two bodies have been found in the rubble of a Houston, Texas, apartment complex fire that happened last week.

Cadaver dogs on Monday located the victims in the debris from the Feb. 15 blaze. Autopsies have been ordered.

A resident on Sunday night reported that two people who had been staying with him never turned up following the fire.

Investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen of an elderly womans unit where an oxygen tank had been in use. Fire marshals Lt. Chad Shaw says the oxygen line melted when it came in contact with a hot burner on the stove.

Two residents and a firefighter were injured in the blaze.

Geneva College, in Pennsylvania, has filed a lawsuit against the federal government. The lawsuit is another one that is in opposition to the requirement that employers offer coverage for birth control in their employer sponsored health insurance. It is unlikely to be the last lawsuit on this issue.

Geneva College is a Christian college that is located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1848 by the Reformed Presbyterian Church. The college, together with attorneys from the Alliance Defense Fund, (which is a Christian civil rights group), has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh. The lawsuit is against the U.S.

Three of the largest banks in the US are reportedly being sued by the state prosecutor for New York, Eric Schneiderman, over claims that they misused a national private electronic mortgage registry and facilitated the illegal seizure of homes.

Mr Schneiderman is accusing Wells Fargo, Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase of pursuing improper foreclosures on homes by misusing the information in the Mers loan registry owned by Merscorp, which is also named in the lawsuits.

It is alleged that foreclosures on many homes were pursued despite the fact that Merscorp did not possess or own the proper promissory note at the time, and therefore these foreclosures did not have legal standing.
