Now Health International is cutting premiums and making improvements to its group discount structure in response to feedback from the intermediary market.

Following negotiations with underwriter AXA, the worldwide medical insurance provider says it has reduced the cost of individual premiums by a minimum of 15% on WorldCare Excel and WorldCare Apex, its two most comprehensive plans.

The firm has also improved its group discount offering, adding three new brands for business customers.

Now Health was launched in 2010 as an international health insurance specialist and chief executive officer, Martin Garcia, explains: “The market has changed since our pre-launch underwriter negotiations and is now more price sensitive.

He adds: We have listened to our customers too, which we said we would do from the outset, and as a result have worked hard with our underwriters to agree these significant price reductions.
